Poppy is doing great with her basic obedience training. She knows all the basic commands and her public access training is doing well. She had been to restaurants, outdoor markets and staying with handlers at their workplace. She is learning deep pressure therapy as well. She is still super sweet and loves her toys.
Poppy is currently 58 pounds. She has been practicing public access training which included the amusement park Knotts Berry Farm. She did great at Knotts! She knows all her basic commands such as: Sit, Down, Place and Heel, She knows the public access command “under” to have poppy lay behind her handler’s legs while seated and is learning

She knows all her basic commands such as: Sit, Down, Place and Heel, She knows the public access command “under” to have poppy lay behind her handler’s legs while seated and is learning deep pressure therapy. She knows fun tricks such as shake, twirl and spin. We also taught her to run on a treadmill. She is still the toy queen and loves to play. Toward the end of the month Poppy started her first heat. She will be spayed roughly 2 months after her current heat ends.
Poppy took a break being in heat. After it was over we did lots of brushing up on her commands then did more public access practice. Poppy was fostered by one of our members of Blue Spec K9 which is our non-profit for training service dogs. She again gets to deal with cats as well as a young girl.
Poppy was fostered with one of our trainers. She gets to learn to deal with cats and other distractions. Lots of public access work. At the end of the year into January she is being fostered by one of our members of Blue Spec K9. She again gets to deal with cats as well as a young boy.
